Tinie Tempah has released the video for his track “Shadows.”
With only a few days left until the release of his third studio album Youth, Tinie Tempah is keeping anticipations high with the release of the video for his Bipolar Sunshine collaboration “Shadows.”
The video looks more like a Saul Williams one than what we’ve seen from Tinie before. The 70s style grainy film look and the color palettes are more than a stylistic choice and resonate with the fuzzy low energy sound of the track. Dark but vibrant, full of living color with wet leaves and plants. The song is sure to divide fans looking for something closer to his more up tempo last album but seeing maturity in an artist like Tinie is nothing but a positive. He’s sure not to have lost his old sound and it even comes out here through the lofi and Drake style element.
Tempah’s upcoming project consists of 14 tracks in total and features guest appearances from the likes of Bugzy Malone, Zara Larsson, MENK, Wizkid, Tinashe, RAY BLK, Jake Bugg, Guy Sebastian and more.
Stay tuned for Youth to release on April 14th. Take a look at the video for Tinie Tempah’s “Shadows” below and let us know what you think!
