Supreme has joined forces with Mike Hill.
Supreme’s latest collaboration is with Mike Hill, co-founder of the iconic 90’s skateboarding label Alien Workship. Hill worked with the company since its inception in 1990, providing coveted artworks. Both Supreme and Alien Workshop rose to fame around the same time, while Supreme has gone beyond its roots as a street and skatewear label, delving into high fashion, Alien Workshop hasn’t enjoyed the same success.
Founded by Chris Carter, Mike Hill and Neil Blender, AWS lived its golden years throughout the 90’s and 00’s, recruiting a multitude of team members, garnering fans with its unique graphics and video content. Some periods saw both Burton Snowboards and Rob Dyrdek in charge, before Pacific Vector Holdings took over in late 2013. Following PVH’s acquisition of the label, several long standing team riders left AWS, which resulted in its eventual closure. In recent years, AWS has made a comeback under the ownership of Hill and Dyrdek.
This new collaboration between Supreme and the co-founder of a company that paved the way for numerous skate labels has been a long time coming. The pair have brought out a range of t=shirts and skate decks, all of which are decorated with Hill’s unique and striking graphics.
Stay tuned for the collaboration to release at Supreme’s NY, LA, London and Paris locations, as well as online on March 23. A Japan release will take place on March 25. Take a look at the Supreme x Mike Hill collection below and let us know what you think!
