Ed Sheeran has returned with two new singles.

After taking a break for almost two years, Ed Sheeran has made his highly awaited return to music with two new singles, “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill.”

Sheeran has been teasing fans over the last couple of days and it’s suspected that a new album is on the way as well as the music. The singer has posted a ÷ sign, which points to being the follow-up to Plus and Multiply, and likely will be titled Divide.

Despite the two year break, Sheeran’s sound hasn’t become rusty. “Shape of You” takes tropical R&B inspittation and sounds furthest from his indie-folk hits. “Castle on the Hill” sees Sheeran revisit his roots musically and lyrically and gives some insight into his long hiatus.
