Suge Knight Delays Murder Trial

Suge Knight has delayed his murder trial as his lawyers attempt to have bail reduced.

Suge Knight’s murder trial will be delayed until February 22nd so his lawyers can attempt to get his $10 million bail reduced.

New York Daily News reports Knight’s fiancee Toi-Lin Kelly said his legal team plans to file his new bail motion based on “a subpoenaed check, new eyewitness testimony and continued health issues.”

“We have a really great shot at our next bail hearing,” Kelly also told the publication. “Suge is really willing to go to trial tomorrow. That’s how much compelling evidence we have. We are very ambitious about moving forward to trial.”

Knight is accused of the murder of Terry Carter and attempted murder of Cle “Bone” Sloan. He’s pleaded not guilty and claims the mens deaths and injuries were a result of him defending himself.
