Lil Wayne has apologized for his Black Lives Matter comments.
Recently, Lil Wayne appeared on ABC’s Nightline where he made some controversial comments about the Black Lives Matter movement.
During the interview, he said he doesn’t feel “connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me” in regards to the movement. Later on, he stormed out of the interview, saying “I ain’t no fuckin politician.”
Now the rapper has issued an apology, saying the host Lindsay Davis had got him riled up. Speaking to TMZ, he said “When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a bitch and a hoe, I got agitated. From there, there was no though put into her questions and my responses.” He added “Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
