Tupac’s “Is Thuf Life Dead?” essay has sold for a large sum.

Earlier this month, a number of rare Tupac memorabilia was put up for auction. Now it’s been revealed a four-page handwritten letter he wrote in prison has sold for $173k.

The letter was addressed to “young black Americans” and wrote during Pac’s time in the Clinton Correctional Facility in 1995. It had been sent to Death Row Records employee Nina Bhadrehwar, and in it Pac reflected on the world around him and his own life.
